Founded in 2008, Lexicon Design is a collaborative team of designers, engineers, and makers with expertise in product design, engineering, service design, brand identity, user experience, graphic design and packaging. We work closely with our clients to transform big ideas into rewarding product experiences and manufacturable solutions that contribute to the success of their business.
Having been in practice for over 25 years, Josh has experience developing all types of products with specialties in soft goods and wearables. Josh loves being a dad to his 6 year old son and driving or repairing his '58 Austin-Healey Sprite.

Justin Cole
Senior Mechanical Engineer
Justin is a mechanical engineer with 12 years of experience working in the field. He has worked on many projects ranging from self-installing infant car seats to 3d scanners to large construction robotics. Out of the studio he enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, either playing in the back yard or working on the next home improvement project.
Joe McCarry
Senior Industrial Designer
Joe is an Industrial Designer with experience in several fields from housewares to military communication equipment. He enjoys solving problems and making the ordinary, extraordinary. While away from the office, you will find him behind a drum kit or hanging out with his dog, Ernie.
Eli Marks
Mechanical Engineer
Eli is a mechanical engineer and University of Pittsburgh grad who is fascinated by the intersection between function and art. Outside of the office, Eli loves to tinker with his 3D printer, cheer on his hometown Reds and Bengals, and air-guitar to 70's rock records.
Audrey Clarke
Staff Industrial Designer
Audrey is an object-maker and a creative problem solver who loves learning new things. In her free time she likes exploring the outdoors, trying new recipes, and reading.

Mechanical Engineer Coop
Elizabeth is a mechanical engineering student at the University of Pittsburgh who loves to infuse creativity into math and engineering principles. In her free time, she likes to go to the gym, sew, and try new foods.
