CSE asked Lexicon to redesign their sheet metal, multipart sensor cradle/holster to simplify the assembly and unit cost while providing an intuitive user experience. Used for inserting a sensor module into a potentially hazardous environment in order to take readings, the design required an injection-moldable, durable, secure, and  mass-manufacturable solution.
