When Tortuga approached Lexicon to redesign their current travel bag, they already had a seasoned product and a loyal following. Lexicon was asked to help create a more streamlined and space efficient product while maintaining the essence of the Tortuga brand: an urban travel bag with excellent organizational features and durability that is worn like a backpack and has the capacity of a standard rolling luggage case. We developed an updated design, integrating features such as larger and more usable storage compartments, an improved zip away cover to hide the straps when not worn, and a separate laptop compartment with dual secure access points.

Lexicon helped Tortuga source an overseas supplier for their new product to cut their manufacturing costs by 50% while improving sales margins.
